We’re excited to have Coach Amy Yiannikouros return for her 2nd season at Laguna Beach VBC! Focused on growing her players’ skills as well as their love of the game, Coach Amy is entering her 7th year of coaching at the club and high school level.
Born and raised in Orange County, CA, Coach Amy attended Pacifica High School in Garden Grove where she was named team captain and earned 1st Team All-League honors. She then went on to attend and play volleyball at Cypress College for two years where she was coached by club director, Michael Soylular.

She received her bachelor’s degree from UCLA and currently resides in Mission Viejo, CA with her husband, Petros, and two children, Lambis (9) and Layla (7). She considers volleyball to be a life long sport that builds long-lasting friendships, promotes the development of team building skills, and provides essential mind-body health. Coach Amy continues to play three times per week, competing in local indoor leagues in South Orange County.
