Lauren Berger

Coach Lauren Berger enters her third season at LBVBC.  A former Division I athlete who has spent the past five years coaching at the club level in Southern and Central California, Coach Lauren knows the importance that accountability and a dedication to working to get better every day plays in a player's long term success and looks forward to transferring her knowledge to her players.

An Oregon native, Coach Lauren attended North Medford High School where she earned First Team All-State honors twice (2005 & 2006) and All-Conference honors three times (2004, 2005, 2006) as she led her team to a 3rd place finish in the state.  After completing a successful high school career, she went on to compete for the Bulldogs of Fresno State (2007-2011) under Head Coach Lauren Netherby-Sewell, an LBVBC alumna.  Showing her versatility, Coach Lauren was a four year starter, playing both the middle blocker and opposite hitter positions.

While in Fresno Coach Lauren began her coaching career, spending one season as an Assistant Coach at Bronco Elite Volleyball Club.  She then moved to Southern California where she has continued to coach club volleyball for the past three years.

Coach Lauren received her Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Fresno State.  In addition to coaching, she works as a Human Resources Specialist. This past summer Coach Lauren welcomed her daughter Layne into the world and we welcome another member to the LBVBC Family.
